Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Abundant Living ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Description of Service

Abundant Living is a budgeting and personal finance management tool that is lifetime free for early adopters. The App helps you:

  • Track monthly expenses and income
  • Allocate your budget across different categories
  • Set and monitor savings, investment, and debt goals
  • Plan your financial future

The App is available as a Progressive Web App (PWA) and as native apps on iOS and Android. You can use the app without creating an account (guest mode), or sign up for a registered account to sync data across devices.

User Accounts & Authentication

Abundant Living offers multiple ways to use the app:

  • Anonymous/Guest Mode: Use the app without creating an account. Your data is stored only on your device and will not sync across devices.
  • Email & Password: Create an account with your email address and a password.
  • Google Sign In: Sign in using your Google account.
  • Apple Sign In: Sign in using your Apple ID.

If you create a registered account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We are not liable for any unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your account.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to accounts that violate these terms.

Pricing & Access

Abundant Living is currently free for early adopters. Early adopters receive lifetime free access to all features with no credit card required.

We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, early adopters who signed up during the free period will retain their lifetime free access.

User Data & Ownership

You own your data. All financial data you enter into the App belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership rights over your data.

For registered users: Your data is stored on our secure servers and cached locally on your device. By using the App, you grant us permission to:

  • Store and process your data to provide the service
  • Cache data locally on your device for offline functionality
  • Sync data across your devices

For anonymous/guest users: Your data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

You can request deletion of your account and data by contacting us.

Acceptable Use

Abundant Living is intended for personal finance management. You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
  • Use the App for commercial purposes without our prior written consent
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the App

Service Availability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without guarantees of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be available at all times
  • The App will be free from errors or interruptions
  • Any defects will be corrected

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without prior notice.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, graphics, logos, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.

Your financial data remains your property and is not covered by this section.

Limitation of Liability

Important: Abundant Living is a budgeting tool, not financial advice. We are not financial advisors, and you should not rely on the App for financial decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Any financial decisions you make based on information from the App
  • Data loss or corruption (we recommend regular backups via the export feature)
  • Inaccuracies in calculations, projections, or any other App features
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Abundant Living and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms of Service.

Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Abundant Living operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App will first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes:

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • For significant changes, we may notify you through the App
  • Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms
